Problem Identified:
Driving out of the parking lot was a huge challenge for me due to staff obstructing exit points.
To solve this, I first analyzed parking lot capacity to determine the maximum number of vehicles it could accommodate without congestion. Then, I designed a data-driven parking management system to improve vehicle flow.
Key Actions Taken:
Capacity Assessment: Measured available space and determined the optimal number of cars that could park without blocking exits.
Parking Pattern Analysis: Tracked vehicle entry and exit times to identify bottlenecks.
Optimized Layout Design: Suggested a structured parking arrangement with designated entry and exit lanes.
Guided Parking System: Introduced marked slots, directional signage, and designated parking areas to prevent obstructions.
Results & Impact:
Eliminated Parking-Related Delays: Vehicles could drive off smoothly without unnecessary blockages.
Optimized Parking Space: Ensured the lot was used efficiently without overcrowding.
Improved Transport Schedules: Reduced waiting times and enhanced operational efficiency.
This initiative successfully streamlined parking arrangements, reducing delays and improving overall traffic flow.
